Bird Boxes

It was a very cold but bright day and dad and I trundled around the site, looking for appropriate spots for the 4 boxes.

Over the last year, we have done a lot on the site, but today was rather special because Seren’s Granddad and I went down to the site and installed 4 bird boxes. Doing this with my dad was really nice. I almost felt like a kid again as he helped me knock nails into the trees and we worked together to cable tie the boxes securely.

The boxes are particularly special as they were handmade by my Uncle. They really are pieces of crafting excellent. We all hope the Robins, Tits, Wrens and alike agree.

This one even had a felt roof.
